Island camp in the Okavango Delta
Jacana Camp is a lodge in the Okavango Delta, located on a beautiful island in the Jao Concession. Guests find accommodation in five en-suite Meru-style tents, including a family tent, built on wooden decks with great views of the surrounding water world.
The main dining area of Jacana Camp is on an elevated platform as well. A cozy lounge and a plunge pool for refreshment on hot summer days are also available.
The camp is the perfect location for observing the African wildlife of the Okavango Delta, especially water loving animals like elephant and hippo. There are extraordinary birding opportunities as well, including the chance to see the rare Pel’s fishing-owl.
