Exclusive lodge at Chief's Island (Okavango Delta)
Gunns Camp is a luxury vintage safari camp in the Okavango Delta overlooking the famous Chief’s Island at the border of the Moremi Game Reserve. The camp offers exclusive accommodation in only six fully furnished Meru tents with en-suite bathrooms. The tents are built on raised wooden platforms and have a veranda ensuring privacy and tranquility.
The public area of Gunns Camp comprises an elevated bar with magnificent views overlooking Chief’s Island, a lounge and dining room on two separate levels, a cozy campfire boma and a swimming pool.
Activities offered by Gunns Camp include exclusive mokoro excursions, bush walks and motor-boat sunset cruises. A special experience is the island camping, which has to be pre booked. Two guests can set up camp with a guide in the wilderness enjoying the Okavango Delta very close and personal.
