Tented Camp in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park
Polentswa is a tented camp located in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. The camp offers accommodation in six canvas safari tents, one family unit and one luxury desert suite, all built on wooden platforms offering beautiful vistas of the surrounding Kalahari. Each tent has a sleeping area, a desk, an en-suite bathroom and an outside shower.
Polentswas main area and lounge is located at a waterhole and the surrounding pan which attracts numerous wildlife. There is also a viewing deck with a telescope, a bar, a dining room, a boma and a restful reading area.
Self-drivers can explore the main gravel roads of the parks along the riverbeds in search for antelope and predators (black maned lions, leopard, brown and spotted hyena, etc.). Furthermore, Polentswa is a haven for birders, especially raptors occur in large numbers. A private concession area around Polentswa allows for exclusive game drives and sun downers.
