Lodge in the Northern Tuli Game Reserve
Tuli Safari Lodge enjoys a scenic location on the banks of the Limpopo River within the private Mashatu Game Reserve in the far east of Botswana. The reserve forms the heart of the Northern Tuli Game Reserve and covers approximately 42,000 hectares of diverse wilderness at the confluence of the Limpopo and Shashe Rivers, where Botswana, Zimbabwe and South Africa meet. The lodge's history dates back to 1964, making Tuli Safari Lodge the oldest safari lodge in Botswana.
Accommodation at Tuli Safari Lodge
The lodge offers eight spacious tented suites, each elevated on a wooden deck and beautifully positioned among mature trees, manicured lawns and striking sandstone outcrops. Every suite features a spacious bedroom with a king-size bed, a comfortable lounge area, and an open-plan bathroom with a freestanding bathtub, separate shower, double vanity and private toilet. A large private wooden deck overlooks the gardens or the surrounding bush, providing a peaceful setting to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings.
The spacious communal areas are centred around a large swimming pool, sheltered by impressive rock formations. Several indoor and outdoor lounges and dining areas invite guests to unwind, while a scenic viewing deck provides an ideal spot to watch spectacular sunsets. The lodge also features a waterhole with a wildlife viewing hide, a short nature trail, a small curio shop and a vegetable garden that supplies the kitchen with fresh produce. In addition to meals served in the restaurant, private dinners can be arranged on guests' own decks or at unique locations in the bush. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available in the public areas.
