Rooiputs
New on Info-Botswana: Rooiputs is a lodge in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, situated 25 km north of Two Riviers. The lodge consists of nine chalets, one family unit and one luxury desert suite, each with en-suite bathrooms. All chalets and suites are built on a wooden deck offering panoramic views of the surrounding Kalahari sand dunes and the Nossob River Valley.
Rooiputs' main area contains a dining room with bar, a spacious lounge area and a restful reading area.
The area around Rooiputs is popular for great opportunities to spot the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park's predators like black maned lions, leopard, brown and spotted hyena, jackal and wildcat. Self-drivers can explore the main gravel roads of the parks along the riverbeds. A private concession area around Rooiputs allows for exclusive game drives and sun downers.
