• Minimum rental period: 3 days, Maun: 7 days
• Vehicle pick-up location: Kasane, Maun for an additional charge
• One-way fees may apply if the rental vehicle is picked up at a location other than the pick-up location.
• No rental vehicles are rented to persons under 23 years of age or over 75 years of age.

Insurance options at Chobe4x4

Two different insurance options are offered.

• Standard insurance: (cheapest option, but highest excess for damage to the vehicle). Excess/deposit: BWP 30,000. The excess doubles for accidents without third-party involvement with roll over.
• Super Cover - reduced excess): (most expensive option, highest insurance cover with no excess with exceptions). Available from 10 days rental period for drivers aged 30 and over. Deposit: BWP 380. Includes coverage of the cost of replacing the windshield, 50% of the towing costs except for water and clutch damage, damage caused by third parties other than wild animals.

Insurance exclusions

Tire damage including rims, roll over, underbody damage, clutch and water damage (including towing costs), damage to the wheel suspension, accidents involving wild animals, no passenger insurance.
