Traditional tent camp at the calm Khwai River
Sango Safari Camp is a nice 3-star bush lodge. The intimate camp is shaded by large trees on the outskirts of the traditional Khwai village and borders the Moremi Game Reserve. The Khwai River provides a year-round source of water and is blessed with a fantastic wildlife population even in drier periods.
The lodge accommodates guests in six Meru tents, which are designed in the classic safari style of days gone by and have their own bathroom and private veranda. The spacious lounge area with adjacent campfire area is located in the middle of the camp and offers comfortable seating as well as an excellent vantage point for observing the rich animal and bird life.
Due to the proximity to the Khwai and the drier regions of the Okavango Delta, guests can be offered activities on land and on water. The nearby Khwai village offers visitors interesting cultural encounters with the local population.
