Stylish camp at a lagoon in the Khwai Reserve
Sable Alley is a beautifully designed and comfortable safari camp located in the private Khwai Reserve in the northeastern Okavango Delta – one of the most wildlife-rich regions in Botswana. Set beside a quiet, lily-covered lagoon that attracts hippos, elephants, and buffalo year-round, the camp also borders the renowned Moremi Game Reserve.

Twelve raised tented suites – including double tents, family suites, and a honeymoon tent – offer privacy, spacious verandas, lagoon views, and indoor/outdoor showers. The interiors combine natural tones and modern touches, creating a bright and relaxed atmosphere. The central guest areas include a lounge, dining deck, pool, and firepit – all overlooking the water. Sable Alley is committed to sustainability and works closely with local communities. The camp runs on solar power and blends seamlessly into the surrounding landscape.
Activities and tours at Sable Alley
The area’s diverse habitats – mopane woodland, open plains, and seasonal water channels – support an abundance of wildlife, including elephants, lions, leopards, wild dogs, antelope, and the camp’s namesake, the rare sable antelope. Birdlife is prolific throughout the year. Activities include day and night game drives, guided walking safaris, and mokoro or boat excursions when water levels allow.
Sable Alley is open year-round and offers excellent game viewing in every season – combining immersive nature experiences with elegant comfort in one of Botswana’s most biodiverse settings.
