Mobile eco-safari camp in the Moremi Game Reserve
Mboma Island Expeditions is a small, untouched paradise between the wildlife-rich savannah of Moremi Game Reserve and the flood plains of the Okavango Delta. The dream location and small size of the camp guarantee a real adventure in the African wilderness. There are many prides of lions and elephants in the area, which can often be heard at night.
The eco-friendly camp offers 5 Meru-style tents, each with twin beds and en-suite bathrooms with bucket showers and chemical toilets. The rustic tents are connected by solar-lit pathways to the main area, which features a boma fire pit, safari dining tent and quaint drinks cart.
The surrounding area's fascinating ecosystem is ideal for a variety of land and water safaris, including boat trips (when water levels are high), game drives into Moremi and traditional mokoro excursions.
