Tshima Bush Camp is idyllically located just a few kilometers from Maun in northwestern Botswana, on a spacious property of natural bushland overlooking the Nhabe River. The camp provides the perfect base for exploring the region's remarkable natural treasures, including the world-famous Okavango Delta, the Moremi Game Reserve, the Makgadikgadi Pans, and the Nxai Pan National Park. Additionally, Tshima Bush Camp is ideal as a stopover for travelers on their way from Namibia to the Delta.
Accommodation at Tshima Bush Camp
The camp offers four luxurious Meru-style tents, each with its own bathroom featuring a shower and toilet. The tents are decorated in soft Kalahari sand tones and include a private terrace, a desk, and a tea and coffee station. Each tent is fitted with a mosquito net to ensure a restful night’s sleep amidst nature. The arrangement of the tents guarantees privacy, allowing guests to enjoy the peace and beauty of the surroundings undisturbed.
For culinary delights, the camp provides a daily breakfast, while dinner is available on request, offering both local and international dishes.
Activities and tours at Tshima Bush Camp
The camp places great emphasis on sustainability and authentic experiences. Guests can participate in guided walks to discover the local flora and fauna. The area is home to a variety of bird species, antelope such as duikers, and occasionally elephants and hippos.
