Discovery Bed & Breakfast is a charming, family-run guesthouse in Maun, Botswana, that delights visitors with its African-inspired style and warm atmosphere. Located just outside the town center, near the Thamalakane River, it offers travelers a peaceful retreat and at the same time an ideal base for excursions to the Okavango Delta and the Moremi Game Reserve.

Accommodation at Discovery Bed & Breakfast

The guesthouse offers a total of nine rooms, divided into four chalets and five rondavels. The chalets are spaciously designed, featuring comfortable beds, mosquito nets, and a private bathroom with shower and toilet. The rondavels are traditional, round, thatched-roofed accommodations that convey an authentic African ambiance. They are also equipped with double or twin beds and mosquito nets, but feature a private, rustic outdoor bathroom with shower. All accommodations have a small outdoor sitting area, perfect for relaxation. The property also includes a swimming pool, a cozy café-bar, and free Wi-Fi in the guest areas. A hearty breakfast is included in the stay, while other meals can be arranged on request.

Activities and tours at Discovery Bed & Breakfast

In addition to relaxation on the grounds, Discovery B&B offers opportunities to observe the rich birdlife in the area or take leisurely walks along the river. Many guests use their stay here as a gentle introduction or a relaxing end to their safari. On request, local providers can organize excursions such as boat trips through the waterways of the Okavango Delta, game drives in Moremi, or day trips to other nearby nature reserves.
