Wilderness Little DumaTau is the elegant sister camp of Wilderness DumaTau, set along a picturesque lagoon in the heart of northern Botswana. Its location offers easy access to the Linyanti Swamps, the Savuti Channel, and the Linyanti woodlands – an untouched wilderness area of 126,000 hectares. Overlooking the beautiful Osprey Lagoon, the camp is perfectly placed to witness elephants following ancient, submerged migration paths – often visible right from camp.
Accommodation at Little DumaTau Camp
With just four spacious guest suites, Wilderness Little DumaTau is an exclusive and intimate safari camp. Its architecture and design reflect the essence of the Linyanti – stylish, natural, and with a spirit of adventure. The main lounge and dining areas offer sweeping views over the lagoon, where elephants frequently come to drink and bathe. Elevated walkways connect Little DumaTau with its sister camp DumaTau, and both share access to the tranquil Osprey Retreat, complete with spa, gym, and lap pool. Built with sustainability in mind, the camp operates entirely on solar power and has a very light ecological footprint.
Activities and Excursions at Little DumaTau Camp
Guests at Little DumaTau can enjoy a wide range of safari activities, from exciting day and night game drives that track predators such as lions, leopards, and hyenas, to guided bush walks offering fascinating insights into the region’s flora and fauna. On the water, boat trips along the Savuti Channel reveal large concentrations of hippos and crocodiles, while excursions along the Kwando River provide unforgettable elephant sightings. For a truly unique perspective, scenic helicopter flights over the Linyanti Delta are also available (at an additional cost).
