Linyanti Bush Camp, a charming tented camp on the edge of the Linyanti wetlands, provides the perfect setting to experience the African wilderness in all its diversity. During the dry season, the wetlands serve as the region’s most vital water source, attracting an extraordinary abundance of wildlife. This makes the area one of the most impressive destinations in northern Botswana, captivating visitors with its rich biodiversity and serene atmosphere.

Accommodation at Linyanti Bush Camp

The camp features just six spacious tented suites, each raised on wooden platforms and designed with large private verandas overlooking the Linyanti wetlands. Inside, guests can choose between a king-size bed or twin beds, complemented by an en-suite bathroom with shower and flush toilet. Additional amenities include mosquito nets, tea and coffee making facilities, and small workspaces. A dedicated honeymoon suite offers added touches for couples. The main area of the camp includes a comfortable lounge, bar, and library, as well as an open-air dining space on wooden decks. A swimming pool terrace and a traditional boma around the fire complete the relaxed and inviting atmosphere.

Activities and tours at Linyanti Bush Camp

The safari program is diverse and tailored to the seasons. Classic morning and afternoon game drives are complemented by exciting night drives, giving guests the chance to spot nocturnal wildlife. Guided bush walks offer close encounters with the smaller details of the ecosystem, while mokoro excursions through the Linyanti waterways, when water levels allow, provide a uniquely tranquil way to experience the wetlands. Birdwatchers are especially rewarded here, with an exceptional variety of species to observe. A highlight of any stay is the 30-minute helicopter flight available to guests who spend at least three nights at the camp during high season, offering breathtaking aerial views of the floodplains and the abundant wildlife below.
