Family-run lodge in the heart of Kasane

In the center of Kasane, right on the banks of the Chobe River, lies The Old House – a small, family-run lodge that offers guests a personal and relaxed atmosphere. Its location makes it the perfect starting point for safaris in Chobe National Park or excursions to the nearby Victoria Falls, while also providing a peaceful retreat for relaxation and enjoyment.

Accommodation at The Old House

The lodge offers a total of ten rooms, including three family rooms, four double rooms, and three twin rooms. All rooms are air-conditioned, feature private bathrooms, and come equipped with tea and coffee-making facilities, mosquito nets, and a safe. Individually hand-painted headboards add a unique touch to each room, creating a cozy and welcoming ambiance. The family rooms offer extra space for multiple guests, while the other rooms are designed for a maximum of two guests.

The lodge itself impresses with a beautifully landscaped garden, a pool for cooling off on hot days, and a restaurant with a bar serving both local specialties and international cuisine. A private boat jetty on the river adds to the lodge’s unique charm. Wi-Fi is available throughout the property, and secure parking and a small souvenir shop are also provided.

Activities and tours at The Old House

In addition to relaxation, The Old House places great emphasis on nature experiences. Guests can join boat trips on the Chobe River, go on game drives in Chobe National Park, or enjoy full-day safaris. Fishing trips are also organized, and those interested can book day trips to Victoria Falls. Experienced guides accompany guests to ensure that each tour is an unforgettable experience.
