Chobe Bush Camp is nestled in the pristine wilderness of Elephant Valley in Lesoma, away from mass tourism. It offers an intimate atmosphere, allowing visitors to experience African nature in its most original form.
Accommodation at Chobe Bush Camp
Guests stay in traditionally designed chalets built on stilts and thatched with reeds. This construction, using natural materials such as wood, linen, and reeds, blends harmoniously into the surroundings and provides an authentic bush experience. Five standalone chalets can accommodate up to three people, making them ideal for couples with a child, and they offer a direct view of the nearby waterhole. The block unit, consisting of four double-room chalets, provides comfortable accommodation for smaller groups. Additionally, there are two simple chalets with bathrooms, perfect for budget travelers such as backpackers or students, though these rooms cannot be booked in advance.
All chalets feature en-suite bathrooms and provide direct access to nature. The camp deliberately forgoes modern amenities such as TVs and Wi-Fi to ensure guests enjoy an undisturbed natural experience.
Activities and tours at Chobe Bush Camp
Chobe Bush Camp offers a variety of activities that allow guests to fully experience the wildlife and landscape of Chobe National Park. These include guided game drives in open vehicles, sunset boat cruises on the Chobe River, and excursions to the nearby Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe.
The camp also features a waterhole regularly visited by elephants, buffalo, and other wildlife. A viewing point allows guests to observe these animals up close.
