Immersive nature experience at Eagle Rock
The Eagle View Star Deck is located in the northeastern part of the Tuli Wilderness within the Northern Tuli Game Reserve in Botswana. Perched high on the rocks of Eagle Rock, it offers a unique view over the Motloutse River valley and the migration routes of large elephant herds. The site is designed for guests seeking an exclusive, nature-immersive experience, combining the rustic feel of the wilderness with a level of comfort that makes the stay enjoyable.
Accommodation at Eagle View Star Deck
Guests sleep either in the protected upper area of the deck or in spacious dome tents equipped with camp beds. Below the deck are sanitary facilities with toilets and hot-water showers, as well as a fully equipped kitchen and a central area with a fire pit. Electricity is provided via solar power, allowing guests to charge their devices. Please note that reserving Eagle View Star Deck requires a minimum charge of 4 persons as this is an exclusive experience. In the so-called “Exclusive Deck Experience” up to ten guests can stay together.
Activities and Excursions at Eagle View Star Deck
The Tuli Wilderness hosts an impressive variety of wildlife, including over 1,800 elephants, lions, leopards, and hyenas. Numerous nocturnal animals, such as civet cats, genet cats, and African wildcats, can also be observed. Thanks to the diverse landscapes—from riverbeds to rock formations—birdwatchers also have plenty to enjoy. Especially striking are the nighttime sounds and the opportunity to observe wildlife directly from the Star Deck.
The camp’s offerings are focused on an immersive nature experience. The price includes full board as well as two guided activities per day, such as game drives in an open 4x4 vehicle, night drives, and guided walks that bring guests closer to the landscapes and wildlife. On request, special outdoor dinners can be arranged, allowing guests to dine under the starry sky.
