In northern Botswana, close to the Zimbabwean border and near Hwange National Park, lies Wildtrack Safaris Eco Lodge. Nestled within the Kavango-Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area, the lodge enjoys an ideal location with easy access to both Chobe National Park and the Chobe River. Powered entirely by solar energy, the lodge places great emphasis on resource conservation, combining modern comfort with a minimal ecological footprint.
Accommodation at Wildtrack Safari Eco Lodge
The lodge offers nine individually designed, thatched chalets – including a romantic honeymoon chalet – all equipped with extra-length king-size beds, mosquito nets, ceiling fans, safes, bathrobes, and slippers. Bathrooms feature both an elegant indoor bathtub and an open-air shower with views of the surrounding wilderness. Two additional family units are available: a wheelchair friendly chalet with three beds and a spacious family tent accommodating up to four guests. The central area includes an elegant lounge, bar, dining space, library, and complimentary Wi-Fi. A swimming pool overlooking a floodlit waterhole invites guests to relax while observing wildlife at close range – especially atmospheric at sunset.
Activities and Excursions at Wildtrack Safari Eco Lodge
A wide range of activities is available: complimentary options include game drives in the Kazuma Forest Reserve, guided bush walks on the lodge’s 12-hectare property, and visits to nearby villages and community projects. On request and at an additional cost, full-day excursions can be arranged to the Victoria Falls, Hwange National Park, or Chobe National Park. Another special highlight – also available at an extra charge – is a sundowner trip to the Kazuma Pan. For children under twelve, tailored activity arrangements ensure both safety and comfort.
