Exclusive lodge in the northwestern Okavango Delta
The Nxamaseri Island Lodge was founded in 1980 and is one of the oldest camps in the Okavango Delta. The fantastic location on a large and shady island in the middle of the permanently water-filled Nxamaseri waterways guarantees peace and seclusion. The lodge is a welcome contrast for self-drivers who, for example, come from the desert regions of Namibia and want to visit the Okavango Delta.
The spacious chalets are located on raised, separate teak decks and have their own bathroom and a private viewing deck. They are connected by wooden walkways to the main area, which offers comfortable seating and a great view of the Okavango Panhandle area. You can cool off and relax at the cozy pool.
Nxamaseri Island Lodge offers mokoro and motorboat excursions, guided walks and fishing trips. A cultural as well as sporting delight is a trip to one of Botswana's greatest treasures, the Tsodilo Hills.
